The project planner
The planner runs in your browser. Your entries are not sent to Silk by filling in the fields, and your guided brief is saved in this tab’s browser session so you can return from Browse or the Shop. Use “Clear my draft” on the project page to remove it. We do not send your field entries or brief text to Google Analytics.
When you choose “Open brief in WhatsApp”, your brief is included in a WhatsApp link. Opening that link shares the included text with WhatsApp; you review and send the message there. WhatsApp’s own terms and privacy practices apply. Downloading your brief creates a text file on your device.
Website enquiries
When you choose “Send my enquiry”, your name, email address, business name, project brief and selected services are saved in Silk’s private Studio inbox. Only the approved Silk team can view them. We use this information to respond and manage your enquiry. The receipt reference confirms storage; it is not an order, booking or payment confirmation. You can request correction or deletion using the contact details below.
To limit repeated submissions, the site may temporarily store a hashed connection identifier. It does not store your raw IP address in the enquiry record.
When you contact Silk
If you send an enquiry, Silk receives the information you choose to share, such as your WhatsApp contact details, business name and project requirements. We use it to respond, discuss scope and manage the resulting conversation. Please do not include passwords, payment-card details or sensitive personal records in a project brief.
Hosting and external links
This site is hosted with ChatGPT Sites. The hosting provider may process technical information such as your IP address and request details to deliver, secure and operate the site. Optional Google Analytics is described below. Links to WhatsApp take you to a separate service.

For questions about information you have shared with Silk, or to ask for its correction or deletion, contact us on WhatsApp at +27 66 038 0730. We will review the request and explain any information that needs to be retained for an ongoing project or applicable obligations.
Project bag and demonstration tools
The package builder stores selected service identifiers in your browser session. The guided brief retains your entered contact details and requirements in this tab’s browser session. Your shortlist contains public concept identifiers only; a shared shortlist link contains no business or contact details. We do not collect card or bank details on this website. The studio concept stores, portals, stay planners and booking examples use sample data and local page state. Their confirmations do not place orders, reserve appointments or send approvals.
Optional analytics and cookies
If you accept analytics, Silk uses Google Analytics 4 to understand visits to our public pages, campaign sources, enquiry-link clicks, successful enquiry submissions and generic steps such as viewing a package or reviewing a brief. These step events do not include your name, business details, email or brief. Google may receive browser and device information, approximate location derived from the connection, page information and analytics cookie identifiers. This helps us understand which services interest visitors.
The Google tag stays blocked until you choose Accept analytics. Reject analytics leaves it off. Your choice is remembered in this browser for up to six months. You can reopen Cookie settings at the foot of a public page to change your choice; rejecting after accepting stops further collection and removes our accessible Google Analytics cookies. It does not automatically delete information already collected by Google.
We do not enable advertising personalisation through this tag. We do not send project-brief text, contact-field values, WhatsApp message text or signed-in Studio records to Analytics. Private Studio pages, prospect previews and interactive concept demonstrations are excluded from this implementation. Clicking an enquiry link is measured as a click, not as proof that a message was sent or a sale completed.
Google processes analytics information on its systems, which may be outside your country. See Google’s privacy policy and how Google uses information from partner sites. Contact Silk using the details above if you have questions about your information.
Local pricing
Our hosting provider uses the country associated with your internet connection to show local prices. We do not request your precise location. If local pricing is unavailable, we prepare a quote. Changing a link or a saved browser choice does not change the pricing market.
